Imogen Thornton

Kia ora, I’m Imogen! A born and bred Kiwi, I’m now based in Singapore as Air New Zealand’s Head of South and Southeast Asia, leading our business here and across the region. Over my 11 years with the airline, I’ve had the privilege of representing New Zealand in global markets, including living and working in Auckland, Sydney, London and Los Angeles. I’m passionate about showcasing the best of New Zealand on the global stage, and finding new ways to grow our presence and connections internationally.

Since arriving in Singapore in early 2024, the NZ Chamber has been a big part of building my own network, friendships and sense of Kiwi community, and I’d love the opportunity to give back and play a bigger role in its future. I’ve been an enthusiastic supporter through Air New Zealand’s partnership with the Chamber, the Chamber team’s visit to New Zealand earlier this year, and as a mentor in the Chamber’s mentoring programme. As a Board member, I’d bring my experience working across international markets, building partnerships and connecting people, along with plenty of enthusiasm for finding new ways to grow the Chamber’s presence and engagement across the Singapore community.

Outside of work, you’ll often find me exploring somewhere new in Asia, watching or playing sport, or more recently, on a padel court.
