Introducing the new look NZ Chamber!

This October, just a few months shy of our 35th anniversary, we say goodbye to our teal identity, and usher in a new look for the New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Singapore.

While our previous logo has served us well over the years, the time has come to renovate the look and feel of the Chamber. As part of our strategic planning and refocusing we felt it was important to ensure that the public image of the Chamber reflects the fresh energy, modern thinking and unique personality of Chamber members, office executive and board members. We also wanted the branding device to support and compliment the excellent brands of our sponsors and partners whom we currently work with and to attract potential new partners.

The decision was also made by the Board to shorten the trading name to the NZ Chamber to better align with our digital handles (our website domain and across various social identities), and how we are commonly referred to in shorthand by ourselves and others.

It is with much excitement that we reveal the new NZ Chamber brand

Our new identity unites elements from both New Zealand and Singapore to create a contemporary, approachable icon that reflects our connection and shared vision of business growth in SingaporeBig thanks go to Chamber member Andrew Martin of Dave Clark Design who helped us bring this modern expression to life!

The custom curved font, in solid kiwi black, illustrating the N as a welcoming arch or open door, next to the Z from which is formed the iconic furled koru, to convey forward momentum and growth. At the same time it embraces and lends focus to the vibrant ‘little red dot’ – a nod to Singapore and the close relationship we nurture between our two island nations.

A brand to be proud of, a brand that is proudly New Zealand

This clean, modern and bold new look, together with the shortened name gives us the platform to reinforce and sell the New Zealand story from Singapore. Through it we hope to give justice to both our heritage in New Zealand and the Singapore context in which we exist. It is as strong and certain as it is modest and creative. It exemplifies the qualities and values that makes New Zealand(ers) great business partners with Singapore, and at the same time encourages a sense of belonging for Singapore(ans) within the New Zealand context.
